Founded in 1980, Varmec designs and manufactures gearboxes, gear motors and variators: innovative solutions for power transmission in the industrial sector. The result of an absolute concentration of the company and its departments on three types of products, coaxial reducers, pendulum and mechanical variators, creates a specialization at very high levels in terms of quality and deliveries.
Since 2000, Varmec has been part of the Tramec group of companies, together with which we propose ourselves as complete and versatile suppliers to the world of mechanical transmissions.
In 2024, the Moonind group was born: which sees together Tramec, Bermar, MT and Varmec. Moonind: represents the fusion of complementary skills: from speed reducers to electric motors, including motion control systems and innovative solutions for power transmission. With this synergistic step, we are no longer "only" manufacturers of individual components, but an integrated partner able to offer you complete solutions for industrial automation.

Design and processing
The fundamental characteristic of VARMEC products is the precise degree of design and workmanship, combined with the use of materials of the highest quality: aluminium cases and flanges and high-strength cast iron, gears constructed with cemented and hardened alloy steel with subsequent grinding work on the sides of the teeth to improve performance and noiselessness, input and output shafts made with tempered and cementation steels.
The cast iron reducers and variators are painted with a thermosetting powder based on polyester resins, modified with epoxy resin, color Blue RAL 5010.
