The RFV series pendulum gearboxes available in aluminium or cast iron version allow a wide range of reduction ratios ensuring maximum efficiency in any working condition.

Construction characteristics

VARMEC gearboxes and motors have been designed entirely with the help of computer-based technical programs. Each individual component has been tested and designed taking into account the maximum load applicable to the gearbox according to AGMA 2001-B88, respecting the modularity characteristics.

Unpainted aluminium cases and flanges in sizes 252-253, 302-303, high strength cast iron cases and flanges painted in other sizes. The monolithic shape of the case gives the gearboxes an excellent rigidity and a high compactness and allows them to be used in all possible mounting positions.

The machining of the various components takes place on modern numerical control machining centers that allow to obtain the maximum construction precision.

All gears are made of alloy steel, cemented and hardened with subsequent grinding work on the sides of the teeth to improve performance and operation quiet even under load.
